Job Description

Campus RecruiterBrasfield & Gorrie is looking for a highly motivated Campus Recruiter to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This position will provide the opportunity to represent a recognized leader in the construction industry to students on multiple college campuses. The Campus Recruiter owns the full university recruiting experience at a portfolio of designated schools — from career fairs and classroom presentations to co-op and internship programs that run all year. You'll be the face of Brasfield and Gorrie to students, faculty, and university departments, and the primary point of contact for hiring managers looking to develop entry-level and early career talent. In this role, you'll help build success by: Organizing and participating in recruiting events at designated universities — career fairs, classroom presentations, student org meetings, socials, and on-campus interview days. Establishing and deepening relationships with campus departments, faculty, career centers, and student organizations at every school in your portfolio. Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers to understand near-term openings and longerterm talent needs. Coordinating with the Campus Recruiting Team to maintain consistent processes and share coverage across events. Evaluating schools for appropriate level of engagement and making informed recommendations about where to invest recruiting resources. Coordinating and conducting campus and office interviews, making selection recommendations for co-op, intern, and new graduate hires. Reviewing, tracking, and responding to student applications in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Leading the co-op and internship program for your designated office — orientation, lunch and learns, community service, socials, and exit interviews.Energized by people, highly organized, and genuinely excited to be on campus. You'll do well in this role if you tend to be: Natural relationship builders who remember names, follow up, and make students feel genuinely seen. Excellent communicators across every format — career fair, classroom, email, and phone all require different styles. Self-organized and proactive — campus recruiting runs on a seasonal calendar, and you make sure nothing gets missed along the way. Flexible and adaptable — no two schools, hiring managers, or recruiting seasons are exactly alike. Service-minded — you want students, hiring managers, and the team to succeed. Comfortable with significant fall and spring travel — energized, not depleted, by the pace of recruiting season. Weekend travel is occasional, not the norm. The students you recruit today are the future leaders of this company — and the pipeline you build shapes what Brasfield and Gorrie looks like a decade from now. You'll join a company where: Campus recruiting is a strategic priority — the people in this function have real visibility and real impact. The co-op and internship program is well-established — infrastructure to work with, and room to make it better. You'll work alongside a collaborative recruiting team that covers for each other and takes the work seriously. The interns and co-ops you bring in often become the fulltime hires you're proud of — the connection from campus to career is direct and visible.Bachelor's degree required. 1–3 years of recruiting experience, or 3+ years in a related role with significant relationship-building responsibility. Previous campus involvement or university relationship building strongly preferred. Experience with a construction company is helpful but not required — genuine curiosity about the industry is. Excellent communication skills across all formats — face-to-face, phone, email, and in front of a room. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a complex, multi-school recruiting calendar across two peak seasons. Attention to detail and comfort with ATS (applicant tracking systems) and database management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability and willingness to travel significantly during fall and spring recruiting seasons, with occasional weekend travel.
